Digital High Grade Filters

Digital Cameras Need Special Filters
Marumi DHG Filters eliminate the flare and ghosting prevalent when the CCD or CMOS chips in digital cameras convert light into electrical signals.
• Newly developed ultra-low reflection coating increases light transmission.
• Lens outer rim is blackened to minimize internal reflection.
• Satin smooth, ultra thin, matte-black metal filter frame further minimizes reflection.

Lens Protect
Minimizes flaring and ghosting and optimizes the performance of lenses for digital imaging. Pictures taken with super wide-angle lenses will not vignette because of the very thin frame.

Circular Polarizer
The DHG Circular Polarizer allows you to eliminate unwanted reflection from water, glass, etc. It also helps saturate colors and increases contrast. The DHG CPL is often used to enhance blue skies and white clouds. The thin frame allows it to be used with wide angle lenses. Front threads accept a lens cap.

Star Cross
The DHG Star Cross generates a 4 cross star effect to areas of brightly pin pointed light and generally softens the rest of the image. The direction of the star can be changed by rotating the frame.

Light Control 8 (ND8)
With the ND8, you can open up the lens or slow the shutter speed 3 stops from where you would be without the filter.
This enabes the photographer to:

A - Use slower shutter speeds at higher ISO's to show movement in waterfalls, cars, etc.
B - Use wide apertures to narrow depth of field for effect.
C - To use video cameras with fixed shutter speeds in very bright situations like snow that would cause over exposure.

The ND8 doe not affect color rendition.
